Response for Testing

Final test - Discussions

OK gang - sorry to have bombarded you with all these tests.  This is the last one.

I think everything is now working by its current design.  Trusted users can now initiate and comment on threads by email, which are also captured on them website in the discussions section of a group with this functionality enabled.  People
without accounts on the website can subscribe to a group with discussions enabled however they cannot reply or initiate to threads until they have created an account on the website.  Once they have created an account on the website, they can reply to the
thread, however their email will not be published until a group administrator moderates their post, after which they will become trusted users and no longer require to be moderated.

Shortly I am going to delete this set of tests from the website but just want to plant the seed that we should test this in a real context - I would suggest a small working group or one of the communities of practice, for which this feature was
intended to support.

There are a few discoveries that we have made while working on this that will need to be worked on in the next development sprint - mainly around how users manage their accounts, subscriptions, followed groups - and clarifying features such as
news vs. Discussion vs. Alerts

Hannoa - maybe you and I can discuss.

Thanks

Neil
